What to look for when choosing a replacement boiler

Were here you help you decide.

There are several important factors to consider when you are looking to replace your boiler.

How much will I save?
Older boilers are now seen to be very un-energy efficient, if a G-rated boiler is replaced with an A-rated boiler it could save a household up to £340 per year and 1,500kg of carbon dioxide being released into the atmosphere.
How much space do you have?
Combi boilers take up much less space in your home due to not needing a hot water cylinder to store the water for when you need it. If you have a small home, for example a flat, it may be a lot more advantageous to save the limited space you have.
Usage
Are you a large family that use a lot of hot water? If so a more traditional boiler system may be better for you. With pre stored hot water you can use several taps at once without losing heat in the water.
Type of Heating Controls Available
Heating controls are a great way to save energy and money reasonably easily. You can set when, where and at what temperature your heating comes on so none of it is wasted. After all there is no point heating a room you aren't in.
