Disadvantages for Choosing a Combi Boiler

As with any product or system there are always disadvantages and this is not an exception. In order to have hot water on demand there needs to be sufficient water supply to the premises. Otherwise if there are multiple taps running simultaneously pressure from each outlet will suffer, however this is also depending on the power out put of the combi boiler. If the water supply is unreliable then this is not the ideal boiler for that situation.

Not particulary a disadvantage but as with every boiler it is a good idea to have it serviced regulary to keep it running smoothly and effciently.

Scarbrook Heating and Plumbing in Doncaster would like to introduce you to the new Gas Boiler better known as ‘the new Combi Boiler’ is a new must have in today’s society.  

The new smaller boiler has no need for a cold and hot water tank as it combines both which not only benefits in household space but it cuts the cost of instillation this is because there is no tank in the roof space which means  less pipe work and shorter instillation/ Labour time.

The Combi Boiler is now the chosen boiler to be fitted in over half Britain’s households every year with its room saving layout and bill cutting costs. There is also a choice of installing the smaller capacity Combi Boiler, this can be fitted into cupboards or can provide more room in the airing cupboards for extra household storage.

The new more efficient Boiler can produce up to 18 litres of water a minute at 35C, this provides you with a great shower or bath. Depending on the household size the old gas heaters would only provide 55% efficiency whereas the new boiler providing 88% efficiency.
